Me - no water here so vodka probably best substitute (except can't flush toilets with it!)

Visitors due soon. DS2 still in pjs (always an issue at best of times) and have been such a bad mum left him on computer all day - very happy but not good for him.

DH and I squabbling all the time, DS1 is poorly and the year is fast unravelling. Glad it is a new one soon!

Not as bad as NI, just North Yorks so can't really complain. We have a trickle now so hopefully it will stay like that as it is enough to get by.

Sorry about the party melted, hope dd2 is ok soon.

Just convinced DS that if he wants to carry on on computer he has to come out and jump on trampoline for 15 mins. Not sure what that achieves, just assuages my guilt I think.

Doh! I just thought, why tonight? It isn't Friday. .... Then the penny dropped.

Can you guess it hasn't been a good week chez Moose?

I am still in pjs and new christmas dressing gown and slippers, as are ds1 and dd. Dh and ds2 have just been to the local shop for something to eat for tea and I reckon I'll be snoring away on my new memory foam mattress topper by 10.00 pm at the latest, only to be woken at midnight by the dog freaking out at all the fireworks.

Ah well, there's always next year.

I've just finished work, and am shattered. On the other hand, it's DP's and my "other" anniversary (nudge nudge wnk wink) so an early night may not be such a bad thing
