So DS was diagnosed with epilepsy earlier this year and now one of my friends' little toot has been diagnosed with Wests Syndrome sad.

My knowledge of Wests is very little and wonder if any of you lovely ladies (or gents)can give me some info so I can support my friend.

TIA

Wests is early onset, with very distinctive seizures [search infantile spasm], there is an assosiated mortality rate and developmental issues for some.....I would read it on Wiki, I think they did it best when we were searching everything. They will need friends so I should think the best support you could give is just to keep being there. I think some children do "grow out of it".
