hello all, don't usually post on here, but am V fed up tonight LOL
DD3 (Aspergers) has had very tough couple of weeks with total snow chaos, so of course has been a nightmare. Add to that that at school it is all chaos due to Christmas parties/nativities etc...and throw in the fact that I have DD2 and 4 and DS1 at home with horrible stomach bug...
THEN to top everything off I got the letter from the LEA today telling me they were refusing my request for Statutory Assessment Xmas Angry
Sooooo now have to get my head round appealing....and I have a job interview in 2 weeks, and DS2 hates nursery and,and,and....
I actually just want to hibernate till Spring LOL
Am about to send DH out for emergency bottle of wine!!Xmas Wink

I thought it was normally on by 4pm?

Anyway its nearly wine time! Grin

How was everyones week?

Ours was good :) DD was an angel in her first Christmas play and sang the loudest, did all the moves and didnt get upset....it was scaled down due to snow disruption so not too loud...apart from DD! :)

We met a lovely SALT who offered free therapy for DD in addition to her NHS SALT. :)

I nearly finished my Christmas shopping, got a turkey and did my xmas online food order!

...progress! Xmas Grin

saw the sn enuresis nurse this week, never been so patronised in my life Xmas Angry seriously considering complaining about some of the crap she came out with.

well starlight, I had hoped that we would sound dangerous to mess with...DH is an Assistant Head, and I am a Child PsychiatristXmas Shock Xmas Wink, but obviously that didn't put them off refusing LOL. They will regret it by the time I've finished making my case though! And yes you're right, it is just part of the process. I was expecting it really...just could do without the hassle!Xmas Wink

dd3 was a soldier in the nativity this week (pic on profile) and coped really well. She didn't sit but seemed to enjoy it, she'd picked up some of the signs though. At least she didn't run across the stage as she had in all the rehearsals!

I've just got in from work - overtime, which I'm beginning to regret... it's my weekend to work, and I let myself be guilt-tripped into working Friday and Monday too. Xmas Sad

Luckily i work with some fab residents, so we had fun baking and decorating xmas cakes Xmas Grin

DP has just gone out for pizza and shampoo (ran out yesterday, where's my keyworker??) and I'm hoping he comes back with wine Xmas Confused

It's nice to hear some happy news on here this week, despite all the chrimbo disruption - here's to it continuing

Well done woollytrees DD!

Enjoy ikea!

We survived a party in a soft play area! Gosh I was dreading it! All things consider DS was brilliant. People did start to look when he decided to lie on the floor at the floor to watch the fans, but i don't care anymore!

He's now flying around like a looney after loads of chocolate and crisps.
