What the heck do I do with this?

I think he has picked it up from school and has bought this delightful behaviour home.

Soon as he gets angry.. He is now hiding others things.

So.. seeing whe should have gone through the hiding phase years ago ( and didn't).. Combined with doing it to annoy others ( fab ToM son ... But not the best use!)

I'm at a blank .. His hiding skills are the same as a much younger child.. We are finding wallets, keys, loose change.. Phones etc under cushions and blankets at the moment.. So it's not too bad.

I have just gone and got a couple of lockable safe things .. But actually we want to not have to lock our phones and keys away ( don't mind money .. As it may stop me spending lol).

Ideas please

oh blimey.

so is he hiding stuff so that you 9and others) are as upset as he is? in revenge?

dd1 is much younger, but I would work on each thing having a place - a key tray/rack, a phone basket, etc, and work on always putting them there, not to be touched until/unless needed. as much ignoring of removing/hiding as possible, and loads of praise of leaving them there/returning them there if out of place. in fact, i have had to do this with dd1 wrt my keys, but for different reasons (she likes the keyring torch I have)

but that wouldn't solve the intent side of things, sorry.

There is deffinatley an intended 'get back at you' thing going on.. Trouble is as usual he is going OTT

I think it's also control thing too.

i'll try out the scales of justice and positive reward... With the baskets and lock boxes.
