Good and bad news

Good news is that ds's funding should temporarily go ahead and they're meant to place an advert for 1:1 assistant Monday for his full entitlement of 15 hours of pre school ed! awaiting ed psychs final report- he goes in weds and salt is in tues assessing his interaction with peers. then can apply for statement.

Bad news sounds superficial but upset me all the same. DS has always had longish hair for a boy, blonde and silky and looked a dream with his blue eyes. It honestly made him look an angel -he is anything but mind! my mum took him to the hairdressers for a 'trim' and despite being told this she took her scissors and cut it way above his ear my mum told her no just a trim but she said it was too late would be lopsided and kept snipping away. ds was then wriggling like mad and she cut it into the shortest, ugliest style i've ever seen.
I feel really quite gutted. He doesn't look like ds anymore in a way. Everyone knew him as the blonde haired boy. now it's horrendous will take ages to grow out and he'll have it in all his xmas photos. i went to complain tonight and owner said my mum just said 'cut it' mum swears not as she adored ds's long hair. hairdresser said about ds's bad behaviour and i told her he's autistic but every other hairdresser has managed to trim it fine without taking it all off.
Sorry probably sounds so petty with many of the battles most of you endure but it really upset me.
