Can we petition for 'medicinal wine' from the NHS? Although I dont get free pescriptions so it would have to be a case per script! grin

...and dont forget my suggestion of monthly mummy spa days on the NHS too!

Sending you sympathy. Ds1 has been ill for a week now, throwing up etc. Feel guilty about work now as have had so much time off to take care of ds but what can you do?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 Wed 17-Nov-10 18:46:13

fanjoforthemammaries7850 Wed 17-Nov-10 18:53:57

dh gone to get emergency prescription for new antibiotics. hoping this dose of nurofen stays down enough to help her pain.

ghoulsforgodot Wed 17-Nov-10 18:55:44

oh wee soul. Can you not cancel the visitors and save yourself the hassle?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 Wed 17-Nov-10 18:58:11

think she has gone to sleep again, she kept waki g and being sick but this dose of nurofen has stayed down, fingers crossed.

update, DD kept being sick so GP checked her out when we went for blood tests, and sent us to A and E, where her throat and ear looked better but she was sick everywhere. she looks awful and worried the staff when she arrived.

good news is she didn't need to stay in for fluids..bad,she will prob give it to us!

chocolatespread Thu 18-Nov-10 15:00:25

Great - that's the last thing you need! Glad she didn't have to stay in, though. What a worrying time sad.
