Paed report - another pack of lies!

Apparently he has seen the OT and has had actual input from the ASD-trained SALT. News to me.

And that she couldn't contact us about a scan for a kidney problem. We have the ultrasound appointment for next week Confused

And my son is very blonde (not true) and has a relatively big nose! Shock

I think I have some pictures on my profile of DS.

No wonder we were refused DLA mobility with this lunatic in charge.

Or is it just that her secretary has tried a cut and paste job from someone else's report?

LOL. Sorry you must be gutted but are you serious and you didn't get a frustrated Paed's joke report that she wrote for her own amusement when she couldn't get into the office?

Both explanations make sense in a way. I rang her the day after the appointment about this scan and she was all slurred as if I had woken her up at her desk!

Doesn't help that she looks like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.lahiguera.net/cinemania/actores/emma_thompson/fotos/1011/emma_thompson.jpg&imgrefurl=encorentertainmnt.blogspot.com/2010/07/ranking-potter-adults.html&usg=__lQB5dXbB0izobpCI53wuDhj9Vds=&h=300&w=450&sz=18&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=UgWYx_Fp4nXY3M:&tbnh=155&tbnw=210&prev=/images%3Fq%3DEmma%2BThompson%2Bharry%2BPotter%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DX%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-GB:official%26biw%3D1920%26bih%3D858%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=533&ei=z7TaTIWgE8G1hAfu38H-Dw&oei=z7TaTIWgE8G1hAfu38H-Dw&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=39&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:0&tx=91&ty=83" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">this

Oh and I shouldn't have DLA mobility for rapidly-growing walk-refusnik DS because she used a stroller for her NT son on holidays until he was seven and everyone was fine with that

This is unbelievable. I thought that the paed was supposed to stick to the facts ie the medical diagnosis not impose her own judgements and opinions about how long a child should use a stroller. I am shocked and this is rarely the case anymore having experienced a fair amount of shocking behaviour from professionals.

Oh forgot to say, love the picture!

I thought so too cansu, but Professor Trelawney told my friend that she wouldn't be recommending her DS for extra help at school because schools demand too much too early.

He is seven and doesn't know any numbers or letter sounds but apparently it's okay because in her country children don't start school until they are seven.

I agree with bits of that but friends son is struggling mightily within the system we have Sad

Excuse me if I'm being dense but what has being blond and having a relatively big nose have to do with anything anyway?

She was checking for dysmorphic features apparently. Which is rich Grin

He has already been tested for Fragile X and she wants to test for Angelmanns too. I get the feeling she doesn't "believe" in ASD although I know that sounds mad. But there are all sorts out there!
