I applied for an echp last month and the first panel was yesterday, this is what it was updated with the panel date being moved to today but there's been no further updates. Can anyone tell me what this means please? School don't believe the diagnosis and haven't helped with the application at all so I can't ask them any questions.

Thank you

So it went to panel in March, they must have agreed to assess and the draft plan was due to be issued on April 14th. You and school now look at the plan and respond if you want any changed. The local authority will then finalize the plan, name a setting and agree funding. As part of your response to the draft you need to express a preference for a setting. They will be sent the plan and have 15 days to say if they can meet needs.

I don't think that's what it means as it refers to a draft assessment not a draft EHCP. Also if OP only applied for the EHCP last month it's incredibly unlikely that they'd have got as far as drafting an EHCP now - it normally takes at least 14 weeks

But I have no idea what "Published draft assessment "means. I suggest you contact the caseworker and ask.
