Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but thought if try here.

My husband has unexpectedly got a new job in Swindon. It's a huge pay rise and a fantastic opportunity for him, good pension, private healthcare etc it's such good news as he was made redundant last year .
It'll mean a move for us, commutable to Swindon. I have 2 dcs, DS aged 10 and dd aged 6. Dd is very bright and needs to be stretched academically. DS is statemented and had a diagnosis of high functioning ASD. He's in MS with 20hrs 1:1 a week. His current school is high achieving. Great OFSTED etc but ds hates it. He's very anxious and has at times been rolling on the floor screaming in distress as the pressure from school is just too muchSad

Does anyone have any experience of secondary schools in this area? I'm worried about moving him but feel it's time for a fresh start as he'll be starting secondary school in 2016. Thanks x

Hi Postman

You might do better posting this in the special needs children or special needs chat section. I think there may be posters there who live in the Swindon area and there's definitely more "traffic" so better chance of your post getting seen by someone who knows the area.

Flowers for you and all the best for the move.
