I have n/c but am a regular.
I have been advised by my lawyer that I will have to apply for guardianship of my dd when she turns 16 next year (Adults with Incapacity Act Scotland) even although I have always looked after her and will continue to do so once she leaves school.
What does this entail? All I know is that I would be interviewed by a solicitor and possibly social services?
Does anyone have any experience or advice with this in Scotland?
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place but I was not sure where to post. Dd has global delay, autistic spectrum and is registered disabled due to her learning difficulties.
