Dance Therapy classes are available for children with communication difficulties who may find it hard to follow instructions, focus their attention, express themselves or interact with their peers. Each class is tailored to enhance communication skills using a variety of language facilitation strategies combined with specialist choreography.

The classes are jointly run by an experienced dance teacher and two Speech and Language Therapists. Dance Therapy classes involve teaching children simple and fun moves whilst ensuring each child can develop and learn at their own pace.

Our main aims are that all children attending dance therapy sessions will:
* Build their confidence
* Express themselves
* Develop non-verbal communication skills
* Develop peer relationships
* and HAVE FUN!!!

Classes are £25 and are held on a Saturday at the London Children's Practice at the following times:

Session 1 11:00am - 12:00pm
Session 2 12:15pm - 1:15pm

We work with children aged between 4 & 12 years. Please speak to the team to find out which session would best suit your child.

Hi there, my friends son attended the taster sessions and loved them. I have sent an email to confirm my child's place. She doesn't have much dance experience, is this necessary? Thanks, C
