Is a moby D sling better than a moby sling?

I was just about to order a Moby sling, when I saw Moby D slings. Anybody know if they're that much better than a normal Moby sling or is a waste of extra money for no advantage?

Isn't the D just the one with the contrast panel of fabric? There is no difference in a stretchy wrap tbh. They're all pretty much the same size and material. You really are paying extra for the colour or a luxury fabric.

That's what I suspected, but then some websites suggested they were more supportive. I'll save my money, thanks!

Prettier I suppose, and the extra panel might provide a little bit of reinforcement - but basically the same deal. Stretchy slings like Moby are great for smaller babies, you might prefer a woven fabric for more support once your LO gets heavier.
If you have a pretty bit of fabric, you could always "pimp" a plain Moby - something I thought of doing but never got round to...
