What sling for baby after c-section?

Now I know that I'm unlikely to get a unanimous answer here...but I bought a baby bjorn one for DS which I never really used. I know realise from reading MN that everyone hates them.

I'm having a c-section with the second for medical reasons. Can I wear a sling after that? Im thinking one of those soft cloth pouch type slings. Which would be good? I'll be wrestling a 20m old at same time!

ps i grow big (heavy) babies!

I have a mamas and papas flex sling but didnt use it for 6 weeks or so after the section as you shouldn't really be carrying heavy weight straight after. If you google sling libraries in your area you might be able to go and try a few.

I used the Baby Bjorn Active. It outs the weight on your back rather than abs, and was a lifesaver after both c sections.

I used a lovely stretchy wrap sling I got from Big Mama slings online. ( can't link am on phone) I used it for about a year or so with both of them after sections and then graduated to a woven sling. I could carry then on my back until then we're about three and I have big children!

I wouldn't recommend a baby Bjorn as they tend to dangle the baby by the crotch and it isn't good for their hips. You also can't carry them for half as long. Wraps take a couple of goes to get right the first time but are really supportive and you can carry the baby high up so you don't put pressure on your scar.

Or if you don't want to go for a full wrap then a soft hybrid like the Close Caboo would be a good option.
