Can someone help me troubleshoot my caboo close?

Hi. Dd really loves the close carrier but I'm struggling a bit to get comfy.
I start with the middle of the cross low down on my back as shown. But qhen I put her in there I always end up with it up on the top of my back.
Also, I know that she's supposed to be high up, but she always seems to be so high up that she's squashing my collar bone and I have to carry my head sort of upright.
I'm wondering whether I've got it too tight? The instructions warn against having it too lose but I can't find any info about it being too tight?

I'm not sure, but I never got to grips with the caboo because of this.

Have you watched the video?

You could try loosening it off and then tightening up once she's in. You want her so she's close enough to easily kiss the top of her head, but not so high you're having to lift your chin up.

You need to start with the cross further down your back than it needs to end up as her weight, plus your initial adjusting will migrate it up your back as you're finding.

How old is she? It will help if you give her a nice 'seat' in the carrier but if she's newborn that's not such a consideration as their legs are going to naturally be closer. I can give more info if age specific. Would also recommend legs out regardless of age.
