Ergo baby carrier - can anyone recommend a non-fake stockist?

I really want to buy this carrier, but the stockists near me (London) seem really expensive (£130 for the original carrier). Is it best to buy from the european site and just swallow the shipping or is there some out of London stockist that you can order from on-line that can be trusted. I have read that there are so many fakes out there.

Ooo, I'd like to know too. I can't get the offical site to list UK stockists for me, so I'm having a hard time finding too.

There's a few on eBay (2nd hand ones, I'm avoiding all the 'new' ones as I just don't trust them for £60!), but again, it's hard to tell what's fake.

The ladies on the slings and things FSOT Facebook group know their stuff, I've seen links on there to blog posts for how to tell a genuine from a fake and you get second hand ones for sale on there too.

Try first signs who are online with fast delivery . Look on the official American website for their list of uk stockyard. Sone Around the eighties range. Well made but also look at the Boba.

I'm not a mum but a Grandad with a warning about fake ERGObaby sites. Just bought a baby carrier for our son and his wife. Found a web site - www.ergobabys.co.uk. Paig £64.31 on credit card. Turns out money has gone to Beijing, China!!! A close look at the site suggest its not what it seems - very poor English and grammar, no UK address or phone number although there is one given in China!! I've been conned, don't want anyone else to be. Have now bought carrier from legitimate UK shop.

I was in John Lewis yesterday and they have just started stocking them too. I didn't see the price though.
