Cooked Fruit

Hi,

I'm TOTALLY new to SW, have downloaded a pack from pinterst because I can't afford class or app (if I can stick to it for a month, I will reconsider, but I'm useless at this sort of thing usually!).

Am wondering - one of my fave breakfasts is banana, peach fried in cinnamon and frylight with low fat greek yougurt. Am I right in thinking I either need to HEXA the fruit or syn it? Do you know why the cooking makes a difference?

TIA x

It would possibly be a B choice of syn it. I rarely use cooked fruit so no idea why it's like this.

If you aren't loosing then syn or hex it.

If you are eating a portion and not more then don't worry.

The thinking behind syncing cooked fruit is because you can easily eat much more cooked fruit than raw.

Thank you both for answering! I'll see how I go, and if I see no change in the first week of doing it properly, I'll revisit!

In regards to cooked fruit/stewed fruit/smoothies your better eating the fruit raw. Your body has to work harder to digest it and you getting the full benefit of the fibre in the fruit. It will be more sasitifing for you.
Once you cook fruit you braking it down and realising it natural suggers into your system quicker. Your eating more of it to fill you. The same applies with juice.
You better off eating any fruit raw and keeping your syns for say a nice sauce for your dinner, a curly worley (6 syns) if you like some chocolate each day ect. Your allowed 15 syns a day and one syns = 20 Cal's.
Also I would have fat free yougurt. I am not sure which of them is free or has low syns. Ask someone here as they can tell you the best ones to have.
I would not eat much yougurt.
