That time of the month and weight gain?

This will be my 2nd weigh in this Monday and I'm absolutely gutted that I have come on today, not had a period for 6 months because of my depo and suddenly today it's back and I'm expecting it to last a while!

Does anyone else normally put weight on? I'm a bit worried that when I go on Monday I will have a gain instead of a loss and I've stuck to plan all week and tried so hard to fit in long walks as a bit of exercise.

Yes! Every month, anything up to 5lbs. It’s very annoying. I too started my diet on Monday so I was hoping to see a loss but my period came early. Sigh....

@Mendeleev oh no. I had a cheeky weigh this morning before it started and was happy with what my scales said but now I know I'll have more water retention on Monday I'm dreading it x

It’s rubbish is it? My husband has lost about two and a half stone recently. He keeps telling me to stick with it but it’s very demoralising every time I try. I find it extremely difficult to lose weight so I end up jacking it in for exactly these reasons.

I've lost two stone in 16 weeks and every week when it's time of the month I maintain- it's defo hard but I stick to plan and often a big loss follows

It makes no difference at all to me... so it’s not the same for everyone.

I actually lost 3lb so didn't put any on. Don't know if it would off been more had I not been on my period but I'm happy with that lol x
