Pizza Express Kid's menu

I have a visit to Pizza Express next weekend and really want to stay roughly on plan. Does anyone know what the syns are for the kids meal - if I got that instead? I'd give the dough balls to my niece, eat the crudites, have a small pizza or pasta, skip the pudding?

Pizza expert don't allow adults to eat from the children's menu (otherwise everyone would do it and they would t make any money).

Your safest bet is a tomato based pasta dish.

Have a look at their nutritional info online and I'd pick something low -ish calorie. I do this when theres nothing really slimming world friendly, its surprising sometimes when you'd think jacket potato might be the best choice (for example) but it can be high in calories compared to other meals sometimes.

That's really interesting - thanks @fivenightsatmummys

So looking it up I could have the kids 3 course menu still for less calories than a whole pizza...and the leggera is totally worth doing if not. I had no idea that a pizza I thought "standard" was 1100 calories!!! Blimey

A 500 calorie pizza is not as disastrous a lunch as I thought

Glad to help Tiger. I look at calories all the time if eating out and there available. Places like wetherspoons print it on the menu and McDonalds on the app etc so much easier to make an informed choice when you have a guide.
