My chicken stir fry with noodles was yummy

Made enough for two so will either eat later this week or freeze

Off to bed. Let’s hope all our children are better /no waking /sick / colds etc

It’s 7w tomorrow to Xmas day

So if we lost a lb weekly that’s half a stone
2lbs a week and a stone Before Xmas

Would be nice to shift a stone but would be happy with half a stone

For any newbies wi for me is a Friday

Today I had porridge with blueberries and yoghurt.

Lunch was leftover meatballs and tagliatelle with tomatoes and cucumber.

Dinner was sausage casserole with chips and broad beans.

I’ve lost 12lbs so far.

Pickled egg and small hunk of rye bread.

Two satsumas.

Homemade carrot soup with leftover rye bread.

Salmon, asparagus, creamed leeks, new potatoes.

Hello! Weigh in for me tomorrow - I am going it online

Had dinner out tonight and small bite of bread then venison loin with mashed celeriac and kale. Probably shouldn't have had the gin martini though...especially before weigh in...but no pudding

Anyway i have 2 more nights out: tomorrow i have requested sushi, thurs is Lebanese so i will have grilled meats, salad and hummus (and no more booze!)

Lost 13lbs so far

The cheesy chicken risotto is from the take 5 book,

4 chicken breasts diced
350g risotto rice
2 leeks sliced
1.2l chicken stock
3 or 4 tbsp Parmesan (I add roughly 70g so it’s 1/2 HEA per portion)

Cook chicken for 5 mins, add the rice and stock, cook for a further 10 mins, add the leeks, season, cook for 15 mins or until the rice comes together and the stock has reduced well. Then add the Parmesan. The recipe says to sprinkle it on top once served but I Like it mixed in 😋

For any newbies...I'm at target lost 6st. Which means I get more healthy extras and more syns as part of the target plan. Weigh day is Tuesdays.

I'm ok with that considering Halloween and bonfire night and all that.

So far today a cappuccino, glass water, 2 rashers thick bacon, tinned tomatoes, 2 slices toast with low-fat spreadable butter.

@FiveNightsAtMummys that is amazing! You are an inspiration. I lost 2lb on Monday, very pleased with that seeing as I was away for the week - although did still good optimise. Really enjoying trying out some new recipes.

I weighed myself and I'm the same as last week. Not sure whether to log it online or wait until tomorrow to see if there's a better result?

Bit depressing as I'd lost 2 lbs earlier in the week and they came back on with the slightest slip...If I log this weight it'll be 2lbs down from last week, but only because I weighed in the morning not the evening.

Feeling dispirited today

B - bacon medallions, 2 eggs, baked beans
L - Itsu chicken noodle soup which is 300cals so unknown syns but morally shoudn't be too much!
D - sushi, syns for miso soup (3), nigiri (2?)

S - not yet known. trying to resist a hotel chocolat hot chocolat

Tiger weigh at same time every week. I can weigh several lbs more on an evening. Or if I've had a lot of carbs night before i know i will weigh more next day. Even if I've done a big walk I can gain next day from a little water retention. So theres many reason you might weigh more, it'll even out.

Breakfast - ready brek (HEB), strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and sweet freedom fruit syrup (1 syn)

Lunch - left over cheesy chicken risotto

Snack - light and free yogurt (1 syn), apple, hifi bar (3 syns), 1 twirl finger (5.5 syns)

Dinner - chicken sausage (2 syns), bean and potato hot pot with green beans and broccoli

Pud - banana and Greek yogurt

Total syns - 12.5

@TigerJoy you have to weight same time

If you lost 2lbs am but usually wi eve I would say you sts as I usually weigh 2/3lbs more eve then am

But next week will show a loss iyswim if you are going to weigh am

As we like pictures....last nights dinner, chickpea & mushroom curry. A little olive oil (2tsps) and a 400ml can of RF coconut milk, no other syns, made 4 portions so 4 syns for this portion

L. Tapas (loaded with syns, but delicious)
D. Cheese sandwich.

Booked next years summer holiday to Cyprus today, so need to get my arse in gear if I'm going to have a body I'm not embarrassed of!

Today's food:

B: mug oat cake with sultanas (2.5) and some yogurt n blueberries

Sn: two clementines, some sweets (4)

L: homemade minestrone soup with a little bit of parmesan

D: mayflower chicken curry (4), potato wedges and stir-fried vegetables

Sn: small bag of popcorn (3)

I know I have to weigh at the same time, but group was at 6pm. I already weigh myself every morning and I'd rather do that and switch otherwise my weight will vary wildly as to whether I've weighed before or after dinner. It should all even out

Today's meals.


Breakfast: 2× poached eggs on 2x little toast (1 heb)



Lunch: syn free pancakes with greek yog, blueberries and strawberries.




Dinner: 2x meatfree burgers (1/2 syn) in wm muffin (2nd heb), with gerkins, mild mustard (1 syn), cheese slices (hea), salad, sweet potato wedges.



Snacks: greek yog, choc shot (1/2 syn) and persimmon.
