Just wondered if anyone has managed to lose weight successfully with Slimming World on limited fruit & veg?
I'm not a salad dodger I promise! I have stomach issues which are worse when I have too much fibre.
I've just joined slimming world as the meal replacement plan I was following doesn't work too well with my medication.
Just finished my first week and I introduced a lot of different Fruit and Veg to increase my speed but it had a horrible affect on my stomach and I was doubled up in agony most days.
So just looking for any ideas of SW friendly meals that aren't too veg heavy if anyone has any suggestions please?
I AM a bit of a salad dodger! I have lost 10 lb since September and never have half a plate of veg...I do have some, bit not half a plate.I have a few pieces of fruit a day. I do try not to have bread or much pasta and rice.
Salmon fish cakes ( containing spring onions)
Steak, peas and baked potato
Chilli with peppers, onions,mushrooms ( no rice)
Beef stew with dumplings ..containing green beans, carrots, mushrooms
Tomato and lamb skewers

Oh..and I eat until I am just comfortably full ..not bursting!
Thanks for the tips! I will have a look at making some of those. I just hear speed speed speed and know it's no good for me!
