Joining online - app?

Hi again, all.

I think online membership would work best for me because I live in the middle of nowhere and it wouldn’t be easy to get to a club. I’ve been looking at the planning app in the App Store, but would I lose access to it if I were to leave after a few months, when I’d got the hang of how things work? I’m thinking that if I joined in the conventional way I would prolly get booklets that I could keep. Just not sure of the best way to go. Any help gratefully received
