Slimming World

Has anyone merged SW with fasting or another approach?

Just rejoined after many years and see that they now do a low carb option with Extra Easy SP - has anyone tweaked it to 16:8 or anything else to any effect?

My friend does 16:8 while following SW. Her losses are slow but she doesn't have much to lose to get back to target. But she finds it keeps her on track for target when she is there.

That’s good to know - I am trying to find new habits now that will be sustainable in keeping the weight off after and thought that 16:8 would be good — especially as SW you can eat too much and snack all day long which is a bad habit for me

I’m doing it, following slimming world when I’m eating and fasting between 7pm and 11am. It’s working surprisingly well, I’ve only got 7lbs to go to target.

Sounds good Ellicam - especially that time slot - I had started with 8pm to noon to fast - and it felt too long to hang out in the morning - then I realised I eat at 6:30/7 - so can eat at 10:30 am ! Easy Peasy

I’ve done SW and then did fasting on the two days before weigh in, fasting at 500c a day

That sounds interesting Ivykate
Did you get better results do you think?

I’m not able to say, but I lost 10% of my body weight in jyst under 12 weeks & my target weight was 2ilb lower. On one week I ignored the fasting as was away for weekend (Monday is weigh in day) I put on weight that time..?
