How varied are your meals?

Hello,

I've been on and off SW for a while and not having the most success - my own fault as I tend not to stick to it well at weekends and then spend the week just compensating for that.

I really want to give it a proper go now and wanted to ask - how adventurous are you with your meals? Are you trying out different things often or do you find yourself having the same stuff a lot?

I think part of my challenge is that I'm not planning nice/new meals enough and am just defaulting back to the same things all the time, and most of them are pretty carb heavy (jacket potato, pasta, veg sausage and mash etc etc). I'm vegetarian (no fish) which doesn't help in some respects.

I have had a jacket potato and beans for lunch and was considering veg sausage, mash and veg for dinner tonight - but is that too much potato for one day, even though it's 'free'?!

What are you ladies having for lunch and dinner?

Just seen the other thread re meal ideas too so will definitely check that out. Just wondering if people having success on SW tend to branch out or stick to mainly the same things.

Bibidy I bought the Slimming World Take 5 recipe book, and I do plan my meals around the menus. I eat masses of salad/veg, I try to ring the changes as much as possible, I wish you luck.
