I usually do a grill up. So grill some bacon, potato slices and low syn square sausages (1/2 syn each) and some reduced sugar baked beans. Use that low cal spray on the potatoes if need be. Sometimes i'll use my bread for the day with it. Bascally the only syn is the sausages.

Otherwise, wheetabix :)

Does anyone have any successful baked oats recipes?? I have tried a few that i found online and (maybe it is just me) but they don't taste of anything?

KnittingForMittens · 19/06/2019 10:45

@MrsPee12 you could add some sugar free golden syrup in before you bake it to make it taste sweeter? They're so dry regardless though so I wasn't too keen on them!

I do ww not sw but have baked oats most days! The recipe I use is:
2 mashed bananas
2 eggs
100g porridge oats
Splash milk
Tsp of sweetener cinnamon
2 Chopped apples (very small pieces)
That makes about 11 mini muffins (in individual silicone muffin cases) which I bake for c23 mine on gas 5. Best served hot with a drizzle of sweet freedom caramel syrup! Not dry at all 😋

I make poached mushrooms using a small amount of stock in a fry pan, add garlic chopped and cherry tomato with curly kale - then a softly boiled egg and 1/3 tin of bake beans

Watermelon , feta & strawberry salad with cucumber

Soaked oats 40g is a ramakin and same if liquid- add summer berries frozen and then leave overnight

Left over noodles with black kale, garlic, mushrooms, sweet corn, peas- if I cook this in the evening I’ll eat it for breakfast the next day - last nights dinner in a small portion is fine for breakfast

I makes baked oats. Usually blitz up the oats, add 100g natural yoghurt, flavouring (skinny syrups are great) 1 egg, half a teaspoon of baking powder, bake for 30 minutes.

I make pancakes they do contain a mashed banana which officially should be synned but I don't.
They really are good.
It's just two eggs and a mashed banana mixed together then a spoonful at a time cooked in a frying pan.
I don't have them every day but sometimes I make them at night as a treat.

I had them this morning with raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, mini marshmallows (1) ,skinny chocolate sauce and some ff Greek yougurt.

Weetabix chocolate minis, sliced bananas and Oatly chocolate milk.

Fruit and fat free greek yoghurt.

Bacon medallions, eggs, mushrooms.

Breakfast frittata - make a big one with bacon, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, low syn sausage, onion. Sometimes some cheese on top. And can grab a slice on the go.

Or today was tea and rich tea lights. Not the best...

I’m so boring. I mostly eat Weetabix wth banana or other fruit. If I’m at home, I’ll have bacon medallions, poached egg and some whole meal toast!

My breakfast this morning was bacon, egg and mushrooms.
I'm saving my B choice for lunchtime, so that I can add flaxseeds to my blueberries and Skyr: I read on another thread that flaxseeds are good for cellulite ( clutching at straws).
