I joined on sunday. I had a sneaky weigh mid week and am already 5lb down. I've lost weight going to group before but due to lifes stresses and not controlling my demons, some weight went back on. I'm not sure I'd like my first attempt at it to be solely online, as it can be tricky to get your head around it, and I appreciated a person to talk it through with me. Good luck!
Yes I lost only doing SlimmingWorld on line 4 stone. Unfortunately put the weight back on but that's because I stopped dieting and exercising and started cooking badly again and eating too many biscuits 🍪
I started with SW online and got on well with it but then switched to group. Reason being at group once you get to target you can go get weighed for free and still have access to the app etc. With online you keep on paying even when you're at target. I knew I wanted to keep going (I get weighed at group at least every 8 weeks) to keep on track and maintain the weight loss.
I started online and lost a stone in 6 weeks. I used a code I found on here they then tranfered it to class membership for me.
I switched to classes and lost another 3 stone. This was over a year ago, I've put a little back on being lazy and not sticking to plan but my mum bought me the Pinch of Nom cookbook as an early Easter present so I am back on it 100%.
Depends on your motivation and also whether you feel you understand the plan from what you read online. I’ve been doing it 6 months and lost 3 stone 4 (am nearly 60) I didn’t even join online, and would rather spend the money on new clothes! Some people join, go for one week, get the books then do it alone (if they need the info) Obviously you need a good set of scales and to be motivated!
