I lost 2 stone 12lbs and gone from a large 14 to a comfortable size 10. and been at target for 6 months (well maybe a bit out at the moment because of Christmas!!!) Will get back on track in new year.

But my biggest achievement is Im much more confident and happy in my own skin, even wore bikinis on the beach in the summer and took my daughter's swimming in the sea which I wasn't comfortable doing before as I was v self conscious. I'm actually being a better role model for my daughter's now I'm not down about my weight and doing the binge/extreme dieting thing I was before.

I've lost 5.5st. I'm still stunned. Been at target for 9 months tomorrow.

Biggest non scale victory is wearing such small sizes.

So far 3 stone 11.5 lbs since May 2018. Biggest NSV has been getting into old jeans Smile

6 stone 7.5 lbs to date Smile I joined January 2016 as a size 24/18 (top and bottom). I'm now 7 lbs away from my target and a size 16/12 (or a 10 depending on the store). After I get to target I'll work more on my shape and get rid of the jigglies as much as possible to bring me down to a 14 hopefully.

Oh and biggest NSV was when I FINALLY replaced my size 20 coat...with a 14! which is also now too big for me GrinGrin

I lost 4 stone between May 2017-September 2018. I no longer follow Slimming World. I gained 9lb back, but I am happy where I am now. Have maintained for 3 months, I eat what I want - all within reason! I watch my portion sizes too.

Please tell me how you lose weight on SW. isn't it just all free food and pasta etc? I'd end up gaining

Groovee · 22/12/2018 21:51

@batcakes lots of free fruits and veg with protein and a wee drop carbs.

WhenLifeGivesYouLemonsx · 22/12/2018 22:09

@BatCakes as long as your plate is comprised with at least 1/3rd speed food per meal, you shouldn't overeat on carbs.

I’ve lost 5 stone on SW plus 2 previous to joining by being forced to go gluten free
Just over a stone to go to target
I’m a slow loser so hoping to get there by Easter

2 stone 2 lbs (my target) in 5 months

Getting back into pre pregnancy jeans was lush. Eldest is 6 however and jeans are now unfashionable bootlegs, but still feels amazing! Found it easy to follow too. Didn't feel deprived with big bowls of pasta etc.... The difficulty of it for me is the need to prepare and plan and the lack of "off the shelf" options. Big emphasis on cooking your own. Oh, and the lack of bread took me some getting used to as well as grabbing a sandwich or having something on toast for a quick tea were my go tos

Good luck

Forgot to add my non scale victory
I met DP at a Xmas do 30 years ago - we went out for a meal on Friday and I managed to get back into the dress I wore 30 years ago! I didn’t wear it out though - bit dated now but put it on briefly just to show I could

Hi, well done to all of those who have lost weight, you are amazing! Can anybody give me some advice please. I have recently lost 3 1/2 stone and although I still need to lose anotner 7, I am pleased with my progress so far. One major thing that is holding me back, the wobbly skin!! Even when I was bigger I was firm, and when I lost weight in the past I didn't have this problem. Are there any supplements I can take to improve the elasticity of my skin, I've seen gelatine and collagen recommened. Also, what exercises have people done to help tone up? Really would appreciate your help.

I do a burlesque fitness class which keeps me well toned. Other friends do clubbercise. Definitely find exercise helps with the toning aspect.
