Anyone else pregnant and following the plan?

Hi all
I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and in the past month have finally stopped feeling and being sick Which is fantastic... however I've also now put on 8.5lbs since I fell pregnant which I know doesn't sound too bad but that has all gone on in the last 4 weeks (!) and I already have a BMI of 33 so am wanting to minimise the weight gain in pregnancy so I don't find myself with 5 stone+ to lose once baby is here!!

Anyway... I joined a sw group today and was wondering if anyone else if following the plan whilst pregnant and wanted to support each other? Xx

Not currently pregnant but I did follow it while pregnant with my youngest and a week after he was born I weighed in 81lb lighter than I was the day I found out I was pregnant so it was amazing for me. Never stopped eating either

Hi, I found out I was pregnant last week, after joining SW 3 weeks before that! Planning on continuing to go to group as I'd like the extra support with regards to healthy eating!!

I want to get into good habits while I'm pregnant and follow the diet properly afterwards (whether or not I manage to breastfeed)
What is the guidance on SW and pregnancy? It's a pattern of eating that has helped me maintain well in the past and stops me from gaining although I lose very slowly if at all.

Also I eat better on SW. More fruit and veg, more variety, more protein etc.

Hello! Yes :) previously lost a lot following the plan and calorie counting, and now I’m 16 weeks and the sickness has gone I’m looking forward to getting back on it!!!

Haven’t been to a group in yonks so I don’t know the pregnancy rules, but I’m going to stick to the plan as much as possible with a few tweaks - as much HEXa as I feel I need ( the new SW plan says you can have two now anyway) have a treat when I fancy it, and no nasty fat free yogurts, I’ll just have real ones that aren’t full of rubbish anyway :)

BMI is healthy so I know I need to gain weight, I have the midwife this week so I’m going to ask for a bit of guidance on what rate is normal and not excessive.

I also train 5 times a week because I love it :)

Hopefully some of you girls will join me!!
