Eating Out

Dh and I have a child free night on Saturday, the first one in quite a while. We've been doing sw for 6 weeks and have lost a stone each. How does everyone manage eating out on sw? I don't want to undo the hard work I've done but at the same time I want to be able to go out and enjoy myself. Any suggestions or tips?

One night is not going to undo your hard work, I promise! Just go out and enjoy yourself :) and get back on it the next day.

Plan where you are going. Look at the menu and see what you want to eat then work or the syn values.

Then just save them this week or Of it's too late to save them just have less suns next week.

But I agree, one night off won't undo all your good work.

Well done

Thank you both!

I think I've just stuck to the plan religiously for the 6 weeks that you get a bit obsessed and don't want to stray lol.

I like the idea of looking at the menu beforehand.

Check out syns allowed fb group, she has great eating out advice in the files.
SW publish the syn values for lots of chain places on app/book. Pizza express, Nando's and Wagamama are my favourite chains on sw.

Otherwise ...

Sauce/gravy on the side to control how much you have.
Salad instead of chips - or at least half and half.
Avoid anything described as "creamy" 🤣
Don't be afraid to ask them to alter the dish, most places are absolutely lovely.
Have coffee instead of pudding - the syn value for various cakes in the sw app are based on 25g - a slice of cake can be 30+ syns!!

There is a viva Brazil and bel brazil in Liverpool.

It's literally all you can eat meat.

We go there quite a bit.
