Extra Easy Sp?

Anyone tried this, and if so what were your results?

I've been on plan now for about 3 weeks. Weigh in later today but last week weight loss totalled 9.5lbs. Which is great! But I'm off on holiday in August and want a significant loss before then.

Thinking EESp might be the way to go for a month? Advice welcome!

I have done SP for a week and I lost nothing! Went back to EE and lost. SP doesn't work for everyone I suppose! It didn't work for me... my body craves carbs Shock

I've been on SW for 18 months and never done SP. it's had mixed results in my class. My friend gained on it. Another member list 9lb. But for a lot they don't see the results they were expecting.

I lost a little bit more on it, but nothing significant.

I am at my target, but if I want a boost, eg after a holiday, or meals out with extra syns, I have a SP meal each day on normal EE days.

I've tried a few speed weeks. Been doing slimming world for just over a year. I've never lost weight doing this. I found sticking to the regular plan worked much better for me and shifted 3 stone. Tried a speed the other week. Completely on plan. Lost nothing. Then did the lethal, sod it then and ate crap the following week. Definitely not for me either.

Wow. Those are really interesting replies, thank you. Our consultant was quite dismissive of the EE SP section of the book at my first weigh in, but having done low carb so successfully in the past, it interested me.

I think, on balance, a quick and unsustainable fix (as low carb was) isn't going to help me long term in changing my lifestyle and losing weight for good. Your replies and experiences have helped reinforce that. Thanks for taking the time to comment :)

I mostly do low carbs but still on extra easy, as I like overnight oats and prefer a bit of yoghurt with my quark. Also I miss sweet corn.

I just up the speed portion on my plate from a 3rd to 1/2 and reduce carbs. Rarely have potatoes, pasta or rice and tend to replace them with butternut squash, sweet potato or just with more veg.

I've done Adkins in the past but found it impossible to live on. But this hybrid works, I can live on it without worrying about ketosis etc. I just find I feel healthier and less hungry if I have fewer carbs

I've done this for the past few days and dropped a couple of lbs already and feel less bloated. Having 80g porridge in the morning but no rice and pasta for the rest of the day and sticking to the list of foods.
