This is a delicious Bolognese sauce, but I often do it without the meat and it freezes really well. Make a big batch, freeze in individual portions and zap it in the microwave or saucepan for a quick sauce.
No idea on syns but I make a tomato sauce by blitzing a tin of chopped tomatoes (to make it less watery strain it first and add any juice back in) about 4 sun-dried tomatoes, tomato paste and a handful of herbs and garlic. It tends to change every time I make it depending on the herbs/garlic ratio.
I absolutely love this dolmio sun dried stir in sauce. But I can't justify the syns. I usually make 2 lunches worth of pasta. I'm hoping to make a syn free sauce alternative that is still super yummy..any recommendations? I'll make a batch and freeze.
