Lunch ideas?

I would normally have something based on bread at lunch, but I use my Healthy Extra b choice on bread for breakfast as I really don't want anything but toast in the morning.

I could use some of my syns for bread for a sandwich (which would be my normal choice) but I'm guessing I ought to be limiting the bread on the plan.

What do you all have for lunch?

I can cook my lunch as I work from home, so have had soups, couscous salad and today I had pasta with a mushroom sauce. I'm craving my toast or sandwich though! The bread is calling me....

I usually have soup/salad/left overs or a mugshot and fruit.
You could have scrambled eggs or an omelette.
If you're really struggling could you just have more bread but syn it? Or have an open sandwich with just one slice of bread (synned) so you still get bread for less syns and just have lots of speed/protein as topping to fill you up.

I warm the ham in the pan I have fried the egg in and put tomatoes in too so they're warm. Microwave the mushrooms

I love eggs, and would happily eat them a couple of times a day. Is there a limit to how many I can have? I could eat three scrambled eggs for lunch, easily....

I could have my breakfast toast and maybe syn another slice of toast for lunch with scrambled or poached egg.

I often have baked potato (in the microwave) with tuna, beans, small amount of cheese (hexA choice), salad. I just crave the bread, its been the hardest thing to give up for me!

Oooh jacket potato, I'd forgotten about them. I normally would have it smothered in cheese though.....hence needing to be on slimming world.

Yes, I'm a bread monster. Breakfast and lunch are always bread based for me. I can't face anything but toast first thing, so i'm going to have to deal with lunchtime cravings instead and learn to enjoy different things.

Scrambled egg with some cheese grated and melted in with ham and spring onion is a quick easy lunch for me.

If I'm at work I take soup out of the freezer or make a salad and egg muffins.

I cooked up a packet of Aldi golden vegetable rice, which was about
21p, and added some prawns. It did a couple of days and was very nice and filling. Add a salad for speed. All syn free.
