I only have a few more pounds to lose but it got me wondering if I am going to be able to keep to my new weight?

I was talking about this the other day. I think I will keep following SW principles for the rest of my life. I think that once I am at target I will distill it down into general rules, rather than keeping on top of free foods etc. These are the rules as I see them:

  1. Have lots of fruit and/or vegetables with every meal (1/3 speed)
  2. Pick low fat/low sugar and/or have fat/sugar in moderation (Syns)
  3. Make sure you have the right amount of calcium and fibre (Healthy Extras)

I have to accept that I cannot eat and drink (alcohol) like I did in my 20/30's Sad

My friend lost 10st and is 6 years in to keeping her loss off. She's advised me that I need to keep looking at it as being a lifestyle change forever and not returning to old ways. She has her meals out etc and lives life to the full. But I plan to keep to the plan and still allow myself treats when I want rather than Daily which is why I got to where I ended up 2 years ago.
