Time of day differences

To top of a crap day just been weighed at 5pm rather than my usual 7pm. Had just had a coffee and a bit of food whereas I guess I usually wouldn't have eaten/ drunk for a few hours beforehand but I put on 1/2lb. I know it's not a lot, but I stick to plan 100% and could have done with a loss... Does time of day and a snack really make that much difference?!

Yes, I think that having had something to eat and drink beforehand when you usually wouldn't could have tipped the scales out of your favour.
Don't be disheartened, have another good week on plan, and I bet you will see a good result next week, with this good week "in the bank" too for next weigh-in.

OP, by all means don't go over your syn allowance, but you should have your 5-15 a day.
Your syns are part of the SW plan and there's no need to deprive yourself to achieve a loss.
Try some SP meals if you want a boost; if you don't want a full SP day, just try including some SP meals on normal EE days.

I weighed myself this morning after I'd been to the loo and had lost 1lb from weigh in last week. I weighed myself at lunch time and had put on 1lb from last week. Got to weigh in tonight and had maintained! Don't be a slave to the scales like me!

Thanks both. Had I not had a crap day anyway, I would've taken it on the chin I think.... But 2 glasses of wine and 2 sticks of chocolate later (double what I had syns for) ive got some perspective!

Sorry Dwangela - I wasn't aiming that at you, I was aiming it at the OP who was feeling down about a half pound gain!

I can go up or down by a few lbs depending on the time of day, how much I've eaten, what I've eaten, what I've drunk, been to the toilet.....

Try not to let it get you down and hopefully you will have a bigger loss next week.
