Hi! Had weigh in yesterday, lost 2lb! Went for lunch with my sister after and wasn’t strictly on plan... i made a SW curry for tea and prepped my overnight oats for today, need to find half an hour to meal plan later. Anyone else weigh yesterday?

Hi all!!

I'm in shock, I've lost 1 1/2lbs! I weighed myself on Tuesday after the weekend and I had gained 4lbs!! It must of been due to water weight as I ate very salty meals and my muscles were killing me after the mountain climb!!

Going to write down everything this week so I know I'm completely on plan and hope that I can get that stone award next week :)

Well done everyone who has lost. I lost the plot again last night and ended up eating pizza and chips after parents evening. Pizza is my downfall everytime. I'm thinking about putting it into my meal plan for the week but instead of eating a whole one with chips Blush having half with a jacket potato and salad. Maybe if I know I'm going to have one every week I won't be so tempted to binge on it. I need to find a way to tackle this long term

I’m shattered today but had done 7000 steps by lunch time which is unusual when not working.

Well done everyone. Just checking into the new thread really but third day back on plan after a terrible 2 weeks.
Got to remember how well I was doing and kick myself back into action.
So I've lost 21/2 stone and a stone to go to target I can do this by Christmas right??

Hi all. Haven't ventured onto this thread before but here I am, with a question...

I've been doing SW for a week and a half now and tonight is my first dinner out since starting (eek!) I've managed to persuade the OH to go with a chain restaurant for ease of syn-ing. We're off to Nandos...

Normally I would have a chicken in a pitta, chips and corn on the cob, but with an eye on my speed foods I'll get a green salad as one of the sides. Following that my options are:

  • Chicken in a pitta (18 syns) plus corn on the cob (free) OR
  • Butterfly chicken (3 syns) plus chips (15 syns)


Both add up to 18, which I'm ok with as I've not had any syns today and only hit 5 on Thursday and 4 on Wednesday. But which should I pick?! Are some syns better than others? I'm inclined to go with the butterfly chicken, chips and salad but surely chips can't be OK?

Hi! Can I join, I've lost 2 stone 1lb so far and have 11lbs left to get to target. Been very stressed and no chance for proper meal planning or shopping so Been a bit off plan this week, not looking forward to the scales in the morning. Especially as it's a friends birthday and I'm out tonight for it!
tweety I make pizza using cauliflower as a Base abd it's lovely, I enjoy it more than regular pizza.
scribble I would go with what you would enjoy more. Just remember to syn any additional sauces and dressings :)

Can I join? I’ve never done slimming world before, but signed up yesterday to do it online from home. I’ve 3 stone to lose but I know that even 2 would be amazing. I’ve always managed to manage my weight myself, but in the last 18 months 2 Stone has crept on 😫. This is all new to me, I’m not
Even convinced it will work!!

Welcome newbies and well done all losers!

Going to see DS2 for the weekend. So excited as we haven't seen him since 17th Sept. He doesn't do Skype or face time as he says he doesn't want to feel under surveillance and we're happy to respect this as we went away to study in the days of queuing up at a pay phone to phone home once a week. 😁

We're booked into an Italian restaurant for this evening. Just going to do my best food wise and hope for a maintain on Monday.
