Hi

I currently use the low fat Tesco natural yoghurt, is there a natural yoghurt which isn't loaded with sugar and low in syns. Thank you x

Marks and Spencer's full fat Greek style, unflavoured has no added sugar or sweeteners.

It's low GL and very filling, and I can only eat a few spoons of it for my snack.

Why are you still on low fat, that myth has been busted long ago.

Eating full fat is far more satisfying and reduces the hungry feelings completely. Low and no fat are sugar-laden empty calories, which lead to overeating, and sugar replacements lead to a fatty liver /diabetes.

Try the healthy option af full fat and eat a small amount. I guarantee you won't be hungry. Add a few almonds and grate half an apple and you're good to go.

I thought all natural fat free yoghurt was syn free? It shouldnt have any sweeteners in it. FWIW, I agree somewhat with Ginny re fat. The NHS and SW are a bit out of date there. I sometimes use my syns on full or low fat yoghurt. I only have 100g with loads of fruit in the morning and its only 2 syns I thin for full fat and 1 for low fat.

Low fat has syns whereas 0% doesn't tend to.

Thank you guys I will give Yeo valley and total a try. I hate that artificial taste you get with some yoghurts seems to be the high protein ones. I don't really want to waste my syns on yoghurt as I use quite a bit in cooking like today I used half a pot in biryani. I see your point Ginny but I've tried healthy eating with full fat following the principle that if I eat healthy normal portions I should lose weight but it never happens for me. For some reason slimming world seems to work for me x

Lidl has the best Skyr IMHO..the raspberry and blueberry ones are lovely, and syn-free as far as I can tell.

I just tried the Lidl Skyr it was lovely a little more bitter than I'm used to but was going to add fruit and a tiny bit of granola for a snack. I will give the others a go as well x
