I have put on a stone since Christmas and need to start to make an effort to get rid of it before we get to warmer weather.

I'm going to post here as if I were at group, so if anyone wants to join in, that would be great Smile I have weighed myself this morning and will post regular hopefully minus figures each week. Feel free to share your figures, or not.

If nobody responds, then I guess I am talking to myself, but still...

Hello, Mrs Wembley, I joined SW in February and have lost 9lbs so far. I joined the thread slimming world#3 2017 and have found it really useful. Everyone is very welcoming. I'm not a daily/prolific poster but I tend to have a read at least once every day to get inspiration and hear how everyone's getting on. I'm sure you'd find it helpful. It's usually the top thread in the SW thread section.

That should have been slimming world support #3 2017.

Hello! Yes, I know, there's many different SW threadsSmileI've been with them for several years, but haven't been able to actually get to group recently and I just need this stone shifted to get me back to target. I thought talking about it, even if to myself, would help me to concentrate and redouble my efforts!

I've lost 1st 7.5lb since the first week in January. Next weigh in tomorrow. Challenged myself 7 weeks ago to lose a stone by Easter... have 4lb left to go over 3 weigh ins. Next SW target is 13.5lb hoping to have that off by my holiday in 14 weeks.

Our fav meals are:
Paprika Pork, (SW)
bacon, mushroom and pea pasta(pinch of nom)
Cajun chicken pasta (random recipe from the internet)
Turkey burgers
Chicken Jambalaya
Speedy vegetable Risotto

Sounds tastyGrin

Hello everyone, thanks for joining in! So nice to not be talking to myself Wink

I had muesli for breakfast, tangerines and plums mid-morning, chicken and sweetcorn soup for lunch (SW Taste of Asia book) and stir-fry veg with something for supper. DP is away, so I can take it easy and not think too hard. Also, I won't automatically reach for the bottle once the DCs are in bed...

And just posting my plans earlier made me stop when I was looking for something to pick at before lunch, so it does help, thank-you all!!

Please stop me from eating the thick, soft white crust at the end of the loaf!!! I'm about to make toast for the DCs and it's going to be hard enough not nibbling on the cheese...

White bread toast is yum! Do you have the syns to cover it?

I ended up having slow cooker lamb, wholegrain pilau rice (Tilda microwave pouch) and peas and sweetcorn which I know aren't speed but I've def not had 15 syns today and won't eat anymore so I'll let it pass Grin

Report
MrsWembley · 27/03/2017 21:50

No, not enough syns to cover the butter that I would inevitably lather across it! And it was a thick slice, too.

Luckily, the DCs came to my rescue and asked for more, so they had it Grin

Anyway, a big plate of stir-fry veggies and a couple of Muller Lights, washed down with Waitrose's finest fizzy grapefruit, and I feel like I've had a good daySmile Thank-you, all!

Tuesdays are always hard for me as I am home with my toddler.

Breakfast - 2 eggs on wholemeal toast
Lunch - not sure
Dinner - lamb curry and rice. Is lamb free on SW?

I also ate a broioche that DS didn't eat 😬

Can I join, please? I have been a member of SW for a few years. I got to target pretty quickly but now am starting to creep up in weight again.

Our group used to have a lovely consultant but now we have one who isn't so good and I find hard to be inspired by her at all, especially when she can't say anything polite to me. I am having a whinge, I know, so please forgive me. Right now, I am trying to think of reasons to stay with SW at all.

MrsWembley · 28/03/2017 15:48

HelloSmile

Yes, the consultant really does make a difference! Mine is new and, whilst she's still lovely, she's not a patch on the old one.

Well, I've just come back from a school trip and am about to tuck into a big bowl of homemade soup, leftover from yesterday. It's my treat for not eating too much of my DD's lunchWink

3lb down bring my loss to 1st 10.5lbs in 13 weeks. Got slimmer of the week, slimmer of the month and hit my club 10!

Dunno how I lost 3lb but am delighted.

Had strawberries this morning then an early lunch of omelette ham and speed veg fried up. Then pork stir fry after class. Have had 250mls of milk with choc shot stirred in and 2 hifi bars.

Need my bed now!

Well done Grovee!

I ended up picking at some leftover sausage and a bit of easter egg. Period has arrived so feeling bloated! I WI on Sundays.

Report
MrsWembley · 29/03/2017 12:22

Excellent, Grovee!

I used to get that horrible pre-menstrual pickiness coupled with the bloat too, but I've recently had a coil fitted and now I don't know what to blame it onGrin

Jacket potato and beans here; cafe lunch so, well, what else!

Wouldn't it be lovely if you could go to a cafe/restaurant which sold only SW syns-rated stuff?

There you are potential entrepreneurs - have that idea for free and come and open one near me!
