Hi

I'm looking for some inspiration. I'm trying to limit Syns to 10 per day to speed up my loss before a holiday at the end of March.

I've tried boiled eggs, baked beans with mushrooms, fat free yoghurts. I'm running out of ideas and am trying to avoid the usual low syn snacks.

Any advice would be really appreciated

How about smoked salmon mixed with quark, lemon and black pepper. Scoop up with celery, cucumber or carrots.

I had quorn meatballs and spaghetti hoops the other day as an evening snack. Not an instant grab though

Ham, chicken, hard boiled eggs, HEXA babybel, HEXB alpen light, sliced pepper, carrot or cucumber, pear, apple, blackberries,

I usually have seafood sticks in the fridge.

Yesterday I made some mini veg SW quiches in muffin cases, really easy & good for snacking.
Also a fan of spreading laughing cow triangles on ham using part of my HEA.
I usually roast a chicken one night to have with salad. Then I can pick at the leftover box of chicken over the next couple of days.

I picked up some laughing cow mini cravings in Asda. They're only little cubes of soft cheese (14 calories each) but you get cheddar, blue and smoked cheese flavours smile

I make a a speed soup, like the easy SW tomato one and have a mug whenever I'm peckish or inbetween meals. It's really filling and takes a couple of minute to heat in the microwave. I make a different flavour every week. I used to eat mugshots but the are nutritionally rubbish plus have carbs in

How about mini quiches?

Mix 5 eggs, half a tub of quark together.
Spray a muffin tin with frylight or use cupcake cases
Add whatever speed veg you like, I usually add mushrooms, courgettes and tomatoes.
Pour the egg mixture over and bake gas Mark 6 for 25 minutes or until cooked. Usually makes 6 muffins.

Syn free scotch eggs? Hard boil eggs, peel and wrap in 5% pork mince (put mince between clingfilm and give it a bash with a rolling pin), season and oven cook for about 25 mins.

Or, SW vegetable pakoras. They're on the SW website.

Yes - be careful, you'll end up turning in a yoghurt grin (I'm sure SW Reps have shares in Muller and Frylight - that's all they ever bloody mention at meetings!)
