Hi,
I'm 21 weeks pregnant and had awful sickness for months. It's finally passed and I just want to eat healthy.

My bmi is 37 so I don't want to gain any weight more than I need to.

My midwife said she was happy for me to follow the plan.

Can any one else tell me if they have followed slimming world whilst pregnant and how it worked. I'm only 5ft 2 and over 14 st Blush so what happens if I lost a bit of weight would it harm.

If I'm not to lose any weight how do I maintain with slimming world.

Thanks

Lots of women follow SW whilst pregnant. It's very safe and you get double HEs. Normally you're not advised to lose weight during pregnancies. However, the midwife will weigh up the risk / benefit of SW against the risks associated with high BMI. It's a very healthy eating plan. I was planning on doing SW when I was pregnant so got all the advice and read all info. Unfortunately I miscarried so I'm doing it now before ttc again.

Keep in contact with midwife and your consultant should support you throughout

Hi I rejoined sw last week at 17 weeks pregnant; so glad I did it's good to be back in healthy eating instead of eating junk and feeling rubbish all day. Defo recommended x

Hello! I joined slimming world at 17 weeks and I got weighed last week and I've lost 2lbs! Everyone is so supportive! And they
aren't so strict with you because obviously every pregnant lady has cravings 😂 I'm 5ft 4 and about 15 stone so I know how you feel about gaining weight!
