I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

Hi there,
I need to lose about 3 stone too. Had a miscarriage 3 months ago and my BMI is 32 so looking at losing 2 stone then trying to have a baby again. I've given up alcohol now for next 3 months. Very hungover this morning but hubby is cooking a yummy slimming world fry up. My group will start on Thursday. Have made a big batch of slimming world friendly chicken and sweet potato curry and some dal.
Going to be 100% from tomorrow - have some left over Xmas stuff to eat today.
Can I buddy you please?

Yes I'd love a buddy!!! Ive had a sw ready meal curry tonight as realised potatoes for lunch and tea is a bit too much.

I'm going to go to Iceland tomorrow to get s few meals for standbys as I've run out

I'm debating buying a soup maker as well as I like soup for lunch but find making it a challenge as I have a toddler so can't leave things to simmer on the hob unless I'm stood there

Do you go to a group? Mines on a Tuesday morning

Can I join too? I want to lose two stone, I REALLY REALLY want to. I've dug out my old slimming world books and am going shopping tomorrow...funny that whilst looking through slimming world books and mag I managed to eat a whole chocolate orange (it had to go!). Is it one healthy extra from a and one from b nowadays?

Report
fraggle84 · 01/01/2017 21:52

Yes 1 A and 1 B

The list of Bs have changed for cereals though so have a look at this photo with them on

Also sweetener is synned in excess but ok in tea/coffee

Thanks for that xx. Am so going to do this tomorrow. I struggle most with what to have for breakfast. I leave for work at 7 and really struggle to force down breakfast. If I have cereal it feels like a waste of Healthy Extras. I tend to prefer sweet breakfasts...are muller light yoghurts still free?

Report
fraggle84 · 01/01/2017 22:10

Yeah the normal ones are but some goodies, chocolate and Greek ones are synned. If your on Facebook join syns allowed it's great for checking syns

For breakfast when I don't have time I tend to have a cereal bar then have some soup mid morning

Good luck everyone. I'm a target member, lost two stone about 18 months ago and about 7lbs have crept back on so will be joining you.

Wow! Two stone is what I'm after. I can't have another year whinging to myself about not being slim as I'd like. I dream of being able to wear whatever I like without having to cover up with a cardigan or baggy sweater! We can do it 🐷.

Hi can I join too?
I need to lose 2 stone and started last week.
I'm fine with food but really struggling with hot drinks.
I use all my syns on the sugar that goes in my tea, I am a chain drinker and I don't like the taste of sweetener.
I'm also struggling when I go out as I love going to coffee shops.
I'm also a bit of a self-saboteur for some reason.

I use a few different cereal bars - hi fi ones from group, Alpen lights, Tesco healthy living and Aldi ones

The sw ones at group are def my fav though, more of a chocolate fix then a cereal bar

Freeurmind have you tried the half spoon sugar instead of normal?

I completely agree with you about sweetener in tea tasting awful, I can have it in coffee but not tea.

Another thing might be to try s different milk that's naturally sweet in it? We have koko milk which is coconut as dd has s milk allergy and that's definitely sweetener but isn't creamy. Others in my group buy almond milk

I'm gonna look for that thanks.

I can have coffee without sugar so I am trying to have more coffee instead, but I just love tea.

How did you make the stroganoff? I love mushrooms!

it probably wasn't stroganoff to be fair but it was really nice.

I fried 200g of mushrooms with a handful of chopped leeks, once they started to sweat I added 1 tsp paprika, a good pinch of chili powder, a good pinch of mustard powder and half a chicken stock pot, let them cook for a few more minutes then added 2 tbsp. of half fat crème fraiche (2syns) served with rice

Can I join please! I'm going to club tomorrow night so am officially starting tomorrow. I've been on and off SW so never successful, I struggle when it comes to planning enough in advance and in having decent things prepared to take to work. Really want to make a go of it this time. I've set up an Instagram as I find it useful there to see what others are eating, I need the inspiration! Good luck everyone!
