Tonight i received my 2.5 stone award after 12 weeks of being fully on plan, never going over my syns and no treat nights.

For some stupid reason we decided to have a takeaway for a treat..it was awful!! Definitely won't be doing it again!

I feel awful and can't stop crying! I feel like I have messed up next weeks weigh in haven't i? Sad

Is there anything I can do to get a loss next week?

Congratulations on your 2.5 stone award. That's amazing.

And you haven't stuffed up anything. Back on plan tomorrow. It will be fine.

I've done worse than that in a week and still seen a loss! Honestly, it will be fine. Tomorrow is a new day.

"All or nothing thinking" is a big enemy when you are dieting, it leads to you thinking that you've had the takeaway and fucked today up, therefore fucked the week up so might as well have more/give up. You need to stop it right now and remember life is never perfect or without slip-ups.

Enjoy your occasional off plan moments but keep them occasional and get back on plan straight away

Exactly what others said, its ok to have the "treat" because you will get back on track tomorrow and your good work will balance out for the treat. My leader says if u had a bouquet of flowers with one bad rose you wouldn't dump the lot would you?
Please dont feel bad about having food you should be so incredibly proud of yourself, I have lost 14 pounds so far, my whole attitude towards food has changed :)

Please try not to beat yourself up. It's one night, one night out of many. One night will not undo all your good work.

I don't follow SW but I do count calories and even though I've had the odd day where I've slipped up and had McDonald's or what ever I've still mostly managed to maintain a loss.

Get back on track tomorrow and don't sweat the small stuff. An occasional take away even when dieting is absolutely fineFlowers you've done so well to get this far.

You'll be fine next weigh in. Eat well, lots of speed food (melon & berries seem to work for me). One meal won't blow your whole plan.

And well done on your 2.5 stone award!

You haven't messed up. Its one takeaway in 12 weeks, that's completely fine!
If the rest of week you follow your plan then you should still get a loss, one takeaway won't mess everything up. And even if this week you didn't get a loss the week after you will and the week after that.
Congratulations on 2.5 stone Flowers

Congratulations on your 2.5 stone, you've done really well.

I think I'll get my two stone award next week. I go off plan fairly regularly Blush- have extra wine, a take away every now and then. I don't worry about it because they are treats- not things I do every day. If I were to stop then my weight loss would definitely increase but so would the likelihood of me quitting. I won't do anything this week that I'm not prepared to do forever, so I'm not giving up booze forever so I will have a drink, but I'm never going to go back to sugar in my tea. I've only been doing sw since the end of August and I've already seen loads of people come, swear off booze, dairy, sugar and bread, lose a stone then quit because they're frustrated!

Don't worry about the odd treat op, you might find you still lose....or maintain...or have a small gain. I try to think of my weight loss as a long term thing so there will be loss, gain and maintained weeks and I'm fine with that as long as the overall trend is downwards!

Stay on plan the rest of the week, throw in a couple of SP days and you'll be fine!

You've done so well !

Please don't beat yourself up and get upset over one takeaway ! It's irrelevant ! I say this as someone who spent most of their late teens and early twenties starving themselfs and feeling pysically disgusted after eating ( never diagnosed with an eating disorder but clearly a seriously unhealthy relationship with food at the very least !! ) please don't get into that way of thinking , you are allowed to have a treat ! You also need to learn to encorporate the odd unhealthy meal etc going forward so you don't get into the habit of yo yo dieting and seeing how you can keep up a permanent healthy and balanced attitude to eating iyswim
