November slimmers

Hi. I've promised myself I'll lose a stone at least before ttc again. My BMI is 31.8. I suffered a miscarriage two weeks ago. Done it before. Starting SW plan tomorrow. Anyone fancy joining me?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage Thinymaboob.

I'll join you as a November slimmer. I rejoined SW last Wednesday, so first weigh in in a couple of days. I'm doing online as I'm overseas. I lost over a stone earlier in the year and half of it is back on - am so cross with myself.
Since rejoining I've been good. So I hope for 2lb this week. Even if I lose a lb a week before Xmas, I know I'll feel better about myself.

I'm going to have 2 boiled eggs for breakfast, chicken noodle soup for lunch and stew for tea.
Ate loads of rubbish over last few weeks (during MC).

How did you do?

I had a good day and tried my hardest to not eat bloody trick or treating sweets. I made fajitas for dinner and when I realised that tortillas are 6 syns EACH, I quickly made myself some rice to have instead!

Tomorrow is my weigh-in day. I ideally would like 10lbs off before Xmas.

I joined SW online on Sunday, I am hoping to lose at least half a stone by Christmas.

I did ok yesterday.
Had porridge for breakfast, boiled eggs, chicken noodle soup and stew with SW roasties and green beans.
Today, I'm having boiled eggs, roasted veg cous cous for lunch and chicken and lentil curry for tea.
My first class won't be until Thursday but I weighed myself at work yesterday and I have put on 2kg in 2 weeks (during MC) as I ate so much food!!! I'm a big comfort eater.

Can i join you please? I joined on Saturday and am.doing well so far. Just got half a stone to lose but I've been meaning to lose it forever. I am v sad and can't wait to get weighed on sat. I've been really good and not been weighing myself at home.

Yes please join! I'm trying to be good before I join again tomorrow but I've been eating all the crap in my house (crunchy nut cornflakes, fish fingers) before I join. Really crave sweet things at the moment. Can't wait to buy those hifi bars. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Can I join too please? I started SW online at the beginning of October and have lost 11lbs so far.

I've 21 more lbs to lose until I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

I had a tooth out and an implant put in yesterday and I'm feeling very sorry for myself. Have totally fallen off the wagon and am eating mini Milky Ways to numb the pain! Have to cop myself on sharpish!

Can I join? I was good in September but spectacularly fell off the wagon in October. Have 10lbs to my interim target and rejoined SW on Wednesday.
So far so good - on plan since then although I have bad sugar withdrawal today.
I usually just post updates on a Friday - I'd love 1/2 stone in November and to get the 10lb off before Christmas... here's hoping!

Yeah. I'm just following plan on my own now as I couldn't face joining a meeting last night. Hoping to go next week. Been pretty good generally but did drink a bottle of wine last night!!!!! Oooops

I was put off going to my local group because a colleague said it's always mobbed and there's loads of waiting around.

I've 3 smallies aged 3 and under so my few hours to myself in the evenings are precious! Too precious for a SW meeting!

I lost 20lbs with Weight Watchers back in 2001. I went to meetings religiously for a while (and after I hit my target) but I just couldn't cope with them after a while.

Online SW is so pricey though! I signed up for 3 months but I don't think I'll be extending it.

I'm still going. I only lost 0.5lb last week and I really deserved more. I had just started my period, so hope it was that.

I struggle with lunches. What do you all have? I used my hex b at breakfast.

A loss is a loss green!

I usually have porridge for breakfast Mon-Fri so use up my hexb there too.

I've had to totally overhaul my lunches so now I have:
Homemade soup (Tomato & Basil/Leek & Cannellini bean) with veggie sticks
Smoked salmon salad
Tuna with pasta and extra light Philadelphia

There is a delicious recipe for squash and sweet potato stew on the SW website that I've made loads. I take that for dinner at lunchtime a bit now. Kids love it too.

Also chilli for lunch with/without rice.

Well done on your loss. I always bloat about 3lb during my monthly. I was naughty on the weekend.
Back on it today.
Porridge with 1/2 milk allowance.
Courgette & potato frittata lunch.
Chicken, sweet potato and carrot curry for dinner.
I get loads of recipes from slimming eats, which is a blog post

Oooh hello - joined SW last night - first day went okish. Can't face salads in the winter and too lazy to cook veg stews and soups so just had some boiled eggs for breakfast and a chicken curry made without the oil with some rice for dinner. Prawns when I was starving mid-afternoon. Fingers crossed I lose some weight!
I lost loads on the 5:2 a few years back but it's crept back on blush

Hi joined slimming world a week ago, first weigh in tonight lost 7.5 pounds !!!.couldn't believe it. Mainly using heb for my weetabix in morning, soups or jacket potatoes for lunch and all sorts for my dinners, slimming world burgers, chips, beef stews, bolognese, homemade pizzas, tikka masalas smile good luck you'd do fab smile

user147... well done! I lost 7.5lb in my first week. It certainly gives you the boost to carry on. This is my 5th week now and I've lost 18lb so far. I've got lots to lose tho and my diet before sw was diabolical blush
