2.5 lb lost in first week on extra easy plan but lost loads last time on green plan.

I have just finished my first week on the Extra easy plan and have lost 2.5 lbs. When I did the first week of the green plan a number of years ago I lost 7.5 lbs. Now I can't complain about a 2.5 lbs loss but I had hoped it would be more in the first week.

I am a vegetarian so would there be any benefit to going back to my old book and doing the Green days instead? I am probably just being impatient and I am sure extra easy will be fine but just wondering. smile

Well, that was last time, and here you are having to do it all again - maybe it will stay off better if you lose it more slowly ?

Footie thanks for your reply. I have just looked at my book, it was 10 years ago which I hadn't realised! I didn't stay for long then as I then became very unwell with depression. The depression lasted years and I am a lot heavier than then unfortunately. If I keep losing a pound or two a week that is ok but I suppose I thought it would be more as often people do seem to lose more in the first week - like I said I can't complain though as it is still a loss. I have read a number of vegetarians saying that they still do the green days and just wondered if I should that is all.

I lost 7lbs in my first week. Then regained it.
I went back and was gutted to lose 1lb in the first week, but eventually lost over 4 stones. Have kept it off for a year so far.

Don't knock it. Although I have only ever done Green. Found one b a bit restrictive- which may explain why my weight loss took almost 2 years!!!

Wow! Nishky well done on losi8ng 4 stones. I have about 5 stone to lose which feels a huge amount but I am determined this time.

A pound a week, every week, is 3 stone 10 lbs in a year. Would you be happy with that?

I've averaged 3 lbs a month and am now 3 stone 8 lbs lighter than I was when I started. I do wish it was more - and I lost far quicker the last time I did SW - but I didn't get to target (or to where I am now) and then regained most of the weight. This time it's been slow but steady and I will win the race...

I actually lost about 5 in the end as I lost some on my own before joining SW.
It really does have to be changes that you can maintain though!
