Scales advice needed

Hi all,
I've been doing SW online since the start of August, and am getting so frustrated with my scales. They are fairly cheap digital ones from Wilkos, but every week I weigh myself it gives readings that range over 9lbs difference.
I end up weighing myself at least 15 times and then taking an average. Which is kinda depressing, seeing as I am just not sure how well/how badly I am doing.
I always use them on the bathroom floor which is the only room in the house that's not carpeted.
Maybe it's because I am too heavy for them?! I started at (take a deep breath) 19st 12lbs.
Anyway, does anyone have any advice on scales or what ones I should buy instead?
Thank you! RRx

Have no helpful ideas to add but can sympathise. Our scales were cheap and old. I managed to lose half a stone and was so pleased. So bought some new scales to encourage myself.

First time i weighed myself they made me half a stone heavier than the old ones so back to square one and a bit demoralising. Have resorted to best out of three now Grin

I bought some from Argos for under £20 and they are great. Salter scales.

I used to use Tesco or boots ones.

I've got Salter digital ones (the sort that measure body fat percentage but I never do that) and they seem pretty reproducible.

Those are the ones I've got. Same each time.

Thank you everyone. I am definitely going to buy some new scales this weekend (and really hope they don't tell me I weigh a lot more than I thought!). RRx
