Help! I joined SW this week and i'm starting to think i made a mistake to join during the school summer holidays. I'm entertaining 2 small boys with day trips and it's just picnics galore! I'm managing to resist the ice creams but just can't seem to come up with SW friendly picnic ideas that don't require a lot of planning and prep. Any ideas??

For quick and easy choose packets of ham/pastrami/ chicken tikka mini fillets/drumsticks/poached salmon/prawns. Kids have in mini wraps or mini rolls/baguettes, you with HeB roll/ryvita or bagged salad . punnets of cherry tomatoes, baby corn, baby cucumbers and baby peppers can be grabbed from fridge. Boxes of grapes. A pack of Philadelphia light (1/4 tub 3-4 syns) or light babybels or light cheese triangles: your heA or few syns, kids can dip breadsticks in, you can dip crudités or have on a heB choice. Or free cottage cheese. Free yogurts.
Or make extra pasta at dinner night before and have it cold with pesto ( 0.5-2 syns per portion) and salad veg. Mixed tinned beans drained and mixed with free salad dressing. Cold SW or Heck sausages cooked night before if have oven on for dinner. Hard boiled eggs are quick to prep whilst having breakfast, plunge into cold water until ready to go.
No added sugar capri sun drinks frozen to keep food cold and drink slushy! pretend ice lolly!

I've been making tuna and salad in a tub for my work lunches, that would work for a picnic.
