Fast forward

So I've been up and down since christmas and I needed something to sort it out so I asked for fast forward this week. I'm on day one.

I'm missing tea because I used the milk on my weetabix. I'm not particularly hungry bit it has made me realise my portion sizes are maybe too big. Even though on sw they say you can have as much as you like, perhaps I'm taking that too far ;)

Anyone else doing or done ff? If so how did you do?

A woman from my group has tried it several times when she's got stuck, she likes the rigidity of it, it's soooo strict! But the last time said she felt she lost more doing an SP week than fast forward... Just something to think about. But if you think you can cope with messuring every mouthful give it s go! I know what you mean about portion size I'm a real carb queen and find it hard to regulate portion sizes what I've found helps is really packing the meal with speed veg so that if I have a second helping the plate is really half full of veg not pasta or rice. Damage limitation really!

What is fast forward? I've been doing slimming world for 18 months and never heard of this!

I've been doing SW eleven years and only seen FF used once it's not actually part of the plan it's a strict diet that is designed to make you long for EE or SP it's only used rarely for people who've lost their love for SW and really need to try something different. I'd rather go to WW for a few weeks that makes me love SW straight away.

So I only managed two days doing it. I need to try again next week.

You need to ask your consultant it's quite complicated

I thought people were being really vague and secretive when I asked about it. But that's not the case it's just a bit complicated. Basically you have set menu to choose from all week and theres a fair bit of measuring.

It's really hard really restrictive and really unnecessary just follow the normal plan with a bit if SP for variety and the weight will fall off in chunks.

I wouldn't say it's unnecessary at all following plan and sp had got me nowhere since christmas because I'd clearly got bored and complacent. I was eating more than I needed to aswell. My brain needed a reboot, and I think it's working.

I am on day 6 of Fast Forward and although it is very restrictive, and for me repetitive, but I am finding it easy. I have been so naughty recently so definitely needed something to kick start me back on slimming world.

Your evening meal can be a ready meal which is less than 350calories. And Marks and Spencer's do some amazing low cal meals.

Like I say I am on day 6, so I don't know how much weight I have lost. But I do feel tons better.
I will repost on Monday and let you know how much I lost Wink

Look forward to hearing the result of that, mrsb69, as it's not something that members do very often.
Sounds like you've done really well keeping to it.
You have to make sure that you stay 100% on (normal) SW plan the following week.

6.5lb off girls... Absolutely buzzing with that! Would highly recommend the Fast Forward plan.

Mrsb69,well done!
A member in my group this morning had lost 8 pounds on FF this week, but the consultant said that was the highest she'd ever known, as it's usually 6 or 7.
This lady made us laugh, as she said that she'd been obsessed with food all week, and was heartbroken one day when she dropped a spoonful of her dinner on the floor.
She was advised that she must keep 100% to plan this week to sustain this success.

Yeah I can imagine this week will be hard.

It was my birthday on Friday, so I had my birthday meal and drink today.
But I am 100% back on it, now x

Well done, that's a good loss and hopefully just what you needed to get you back on track full of enthusiasm. I'd never heard of it but only doing SW for a few weeks.
