Slimming down whilst TTC

Hi all,

I lost 4st on slimming world 2 years ago. Unfortunately, i lost my Dad to COPD in December 15 and grief and comfort eating meant i put on just over 2st.
I am also TTC and have PCOS. We've been trying for a while now and nothing is happening and i don't think my weight is helping, current BMI is 35.6 (i think). I'm only 4ft 11 too, so i'm carrying around a lot of extra weight. I planning to see a GP in september to get them to start doing some tests, but i want to lose some weight before then.

I rejoined slimming world end of May and i am really struggling with getting my head back into the right mindset. Particularly with planning meals, i need some inspiration for some nice meals, especially lunches (the thought of eating salad every lunchtime doesn't thrill me!).

Anyone else in the same boat who wants to join me in this journey? And help me plan some nice lunches/meals!

I wish I'd followed SW while TTC! I'm following it now while pregnant to limit weight gain but it's worth remembering that you won't be able to lose anything when pregnant. I'd rather have started out a few lbs lighter to be honest!

Also if you intend to exercise throughout your pregnancy, I'd get into it now. You aren't allowed to start any new exercise after getting pregnant :(

Good luck with both your weight loss and TTC!

Hi, we joined a year ago after ttc for a year with no luck. I've lost 4 stone now and we're about to start ivf soon.
For lunches I always have left overs. So every evening I cook double and we eat the same for lunch the next day. It's worked for us as I get hungry and need a good lunch!
