I once had this and it was great. Think it may be an African dish. Does anyone have a recipe or alternatively know anything about cooking yams.plaintain and such goodies?

The African name for this matoke . Google this and will get lots of variations of the recipe and pick your favourite!

That sounds lovely, randomer: check syn value with your consultant as cooked fruit needs to be synned.

Plantain banana is in the vegetable section in the SW book, as are yams and cassava, so free as long as cooked without adding fat
