Waitrose must-buys...

Evening all,

So...I'm normally an Asda/Aldi/Lidl girl, but have a Waitrose gift card burning a hole in my pocket, and we're planning on shopping there this weekend as a bit of a treat! Does anyone in here shop at Waitrose - and if so, is there anything amazing that's syn-free/low syn that I should be looking out for, please? Smile

No sure about syns but there are some really nice ready meals. I am on 5:2 and on my fast days really enjoy the Beef in red wine sauce with crushed root veg. 233 calories!

Thanks ladies - will keep an eye out!

Also noticed they do an own-brand chocolate frozen yoghurt that's 3 syns per 100ml...definitely going to get some of that if it's in stock! Grin

The Waitrose one, Calzone? I've bought the Asda one before and love it - keen to try this one though as it's lower in syns and therefore I can have more of it Grin

The flat iron steak, reasonably priced and no fat to cut off and chuck away! Delicious!

Home-brand chocolate. Bread. Lots of the ready / easy-cook meals.

Thanks ladies!

Definitely going to have to go back. I spent a fortune in there earlier! I've stocked up on their bags of mini choc chip cookies, which are amazing for 1 syn each!

The mini choc chip cookies are amazing GeePee - definitely curb biscuit cravings and so low syn that you can have a few and not feel guilty! They're around the size of a £2 coin (but thicker) and taste amazing!
