Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Wow these threads get full so quick!! The rice sounds good. Is it on the website?? I'll make sure I leave all windows open when cooking & eating it Wink.

I just wanted to share my good news that I got my 1 stone award Smile. 3 weeks & not been hungry or denied myself much. I'm so happy right now.

Hope everyone has a really good week!!

A nice new thread to celebrate my joy on.WI today - I lost 2lb Grin. Was naffed off with 0.5lb in 2 weeks and haven't really done much different this week but the scales have moved in the right direction. Unfortunately I've over done the syns in celebration Blush It's a new day tomorrow so back on it. Well done fellow losers.

Mind if I join, folks? I joined SW last week and have my first weigh-in on Saturday. Feel nervous in case I have been doing it all wrong! Hoping this thread will give me inspiration and food ideas (am not a confident cook but want to change that). Good luck to all on this thread!

Thanks for starting the new thread, Kitty but it does mean you're in charge of the Big Stick now Grin

Welcome to the thread, mam

STS at WI this morning. Bit disappointed (still a lb away from my 2 1/2 stone shiny) but when I worked out my syns for the week, I was probably touching 200 Blush . Will be glad when the journals are released so I can easily track food without having to keep sheets of random paper around; I've tried doing it in a normal notebook but it doesn't work the same as having proper sections in a food diary to do it in.

Today's food:

Post-WI: Breakfast muffins, lemon drizzle cake
Lunch: Tuna pasta, banana, pear, satsumas
Pre-college: Iceland meatballs, lemon drizzle cake
Dinner: Freezer Surprise! Mac-and-cheese, chicken goulash, garlic mushrooms. Lemon drizzle cake.
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars
Syns: 9 (2 x 3 lemon drizzle cake; 3 mac&cheese)

Well done losers and welcome Mam - good luck for tomorrow!

Em - STS and 200 syns- that's pretty impressive! I agree, journals will be really handy!

I'll be glad when this week's over - crazy busy and a bit too stressful. Think I've stayed on plan, but got back into the habit of skipping breakfast, which I know I shouldn't do. Going to force myself to eat this morning, and today will look like this...

B - fruit and yoghurt

L - leftover homemade fishcakes from last night (0.5 Syns each - I'll have two) with veg

D - we'll be driving this evening - 3.5hrs in the car to visit my parents. Will take leftover SW quiche with me so I'm not tempted by a Burger King at the service station we always stop at...but will use my HexA for a Costa skinny latte en route!

HexB will be Alpen Lights. Finished yesterday on 9 syns - aiming to keep it under 10 today too...probably in the form of chocolate...

L- pea and ham soup and fruit
D- courgetti with prawns, smoked salmon and stir fried veg

Morning everyone. Shiny new thread.

Well done on the losses, keep it up losers.

Did food shopping today, on an empty stomach, but hurrah managed to resist all the freshly baked goodies. Still managed to overspend though, anyone else find their food shopping costs more?

B: scrambled eggs with courgette and mushrooms, banana
D: beans on toast with cheese (hexa hexb)
T: lemon and parsley salmon with veg rice, salmon and melon

Unsure what to spend my sins on, quite fancy some crisps.

Ha!

Have found you all.

Sorry I've not been around. I have had a terrible week, work wise. From being falsely accused of leaking confidential information to a 'friend' hacking my email and putting my child into a safeguarding nightmare, it hasn't been good. :-(

Weightwise, my scales say 10 stone 13lbs which is awesome! Amazing what a bit of stress can do......

The stick is around. I don't want to use it but I will....... Wink

Hi everyone. Can I join in? I started SW at the beginning of January, have lost 1st 10lb up to now. I followed the last thread, found it very useful, and decided I would join the next one. So here I am. Smile

I'm going to a class, but usually do the old style green days, but I haven't told my consultant. Not sure whether she would approve!

Oh Calzone, big hugs - sounds like the week from hell! That number at the start of the scales has to be a boost, though!

Welcome Vodka, well done on the loss so far! We have someone in our group who does the old green days, she's a veggie and finds it much easier....

Weighed in at 12st 2 on Tues...this morning I got on the scales naked (which I never do) and registered at just under 12 stone! I actually cried - can't remember the last time I saw an 11 at the front but it's spurring me on to be good for the rest of the week!!

Thanks for the new thread. Needing some inspiration badly today! Lost 1lb this week, so just 10lbs away from target. 3 stone 3 lost in total but just cant seem to get my butt in gear!! It seems the closer to target I get, the more I want to eat cake!!! What are everyones hints and tips to getting back in the zone?

Xxx

So close to target, Hello!

I managed to go back up to a 3lb loss last week - which I put down to drinking more water and green tea, making sure that I put 1/3 speed on my plate before putting anything else on there, and having homemade soup for lunches!

SP days are doing the trick for me Timothy after stalling for quite a while. On a week with a bad weekend I plan to do 3 SP (did that last week and still lost 2lbs) and this week when nothing big on I'm doing 2.
