I am struggling to lose on SW and my consultant phoned me yesterday. She has spoken to her team leader and they feel, looking at my food diary, that I am afraid to eat certain things and afraid to eat too much. I think this is true. I am used to counting calories and have done the Cambridge too ( very half heartedly). I am a greedy person as well. So I agree that I am avoiding carbs even though I love pasta and trying to eat veg speed rather than fruit - and possibly sabotaging.
Read the books again properly, forget what you gave done in the past and try to stick to this for a while, see what happens.

Always did weight watcher before but joined slimming world about six weeks ago and like you Flossy initially found it hard to get my head round being able to eat more than a couple of bits of pasta. I can now use my grated cheddar (HEA) on my spag bog

Feedback from consultant in the first few weeks was I am not eating enough.

Good luck to you both
